We're outta here...
Well, not
forever - but the the travel days of the Bird's Eye View crew are upon us.
Due to
summer events, personal projects and a little R&R, between now and the
end of August, we spend more time out of the office than in. What can I
say- it's nice outside, and my kayak needs a bath.
What does
that mean to you? Well, we might be a little longer in responding to your
emails and voicemails since some of our summer trips put us way off the
grid. Just hang in there, we'll get back to you as soon as we can.
Also,
during the summer some orders may take as much as 2-3 weeks to get back to
you - but we try really hard to catch up before we head out. So, if you're
really itchin' for that special photo - CALL US. We'll do our best to
process it before we disappear.
A few more
of
you have found our Blog (see blue tab above) and are getting to see what
the Adventure is really like. Keep those emails coming, and have a great
summer!

Procrastinators -
you're too late ...
Last date to order
images from 2007 was February 1, 2008. After February, we hit
the big red delete button. Don't even
bother asking :) We will pull out the big button again on
2/1/09 for 2008 images.

| Returning
Customers Logging in ...
It never fails that when we want to
take a vacation, our file server does too. Not having room for any
more computers in our car, we leave the server behind. It therefore
gets ticked off and decides to quit while we're on the road.
Putting our pieces back together
left us with a new customer database, some of you are in it, some
are not. So, go ahead and recreate your logins again. If you're like
me, you can't remember the password you used last time anyway.

Website Upgrades ...
Folks, beginning in 2008 we've made a
few well, ok a lot of changes to the this website.
First, the shopping cart has a brand-new face, and has a lot of new
features. One feature you'll dig is the electronic "send a
postcard to (insert special someone here)" button. This
technology has been around for a while, but we've hestitated (until
now) due to image protection issues. For all you bloggers,
My-Spacers, Google-ites, etc. out there - we've added a new plug-in
called Share-It; which allows you to pick an image and direct
deposit that baby to your blog, MySpace page or wherever.
Totally cool. Yes the images will still have a big 'ole copyright
across the middle of them. |
